Located in pristine Surrey countryside, near the market town of Dorking, Surrey Hills Yurts is a gorgeous glamping destination that also takes its food and drink offering extremely seriously.
A family-owned farm in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, their eco-friendly staycation site is home to Sussex Cows, Gloucester Old Spot pigs and chickens, as well as glampers.
At the moment, Surrey Hills Yurts sell their meat and eggs direct to their guests, local villagers and anyone who happens to be passing by their Westcott farm, Mad Horse Copse.
Found in the shadow of Leith Hill tower, the highest point in the south of England, they are proud to offer outdoor cooking experiences as part of their glamping packages and feature local chefs, as well as suppliers, whenever possible.
They also sell local honeys, jams and preserves to guests on site, as well as putting together hampers full of produce from local farm shops for guests to purchase.
With the likes of Village Greens Farm Shop, in Ockley and Dorking, and Abinger Farm Shop, in Abinger Hammer, on their doorstep, they have access to plenty of delicious local food and drink.
To maintain their eco-friendly credentials, there is no electricity on site but their six luxury yurts are equipped with candle-powered lanterns and fairy lights.
Their yurts make for an alluring countryside escape for cyclists, walkers, corporate events, hen parties, couples, friends and families.
Surrey Hills Yurts is the perfect location to stay a night or two under the stars, while exploring pristine countryside on foot, bike or horse, enjoying some of the best food and drink Surrey can offer and visiting the excellent selection of pubs.
