A pastry chef for almost 25 years now, Stephen bakes everything from bread puddings, pasties and sausage rolls to fruit flans, chocolate éclairs and Frangipane cakes, so it’s no wonder he has such a devoted following in the area.
“We are particularly proud of our Surrey pasties, which are packed with leeks, potatoes, carrots and swedes, as well as our seasonal fruit pies,” says Stephen. “And that’s not to mention our foot-long cheese straws!”
Although they don’t have a shop, they are a regular at high-profile events, such as the food festivals at Hampton Court Palace, the Taste of Autumn Event at RHS Garden Wisley and the Surrey County Show in Guildford – and now they are looking forward to attending Local Food Britain’s own events. They can often be spotted at local farmers’ markets, too.
