Fetcham in Surrey sits on the opposite side of the River Mole to the town of Leatherhead, very close to the M25.

Railway stations are provided by nearby Bookham and the larger Leatherhead. Part of the ancient Copthorne hundred, in centuries past Fetcham was known as “Fecca’s Ham” which is thought to translate as “Fecca’s settlement”. It’s all very fascinating and this town is well worth a visit by history buffs, not just because of the opportunity to view Fetcham Park House. Fetcham is well served by places to eat and has a large village hall which is available for hire.
