South of the River Thames approximately 13m miles from central London lies the Elmbridge town of Molesey. Historic landmarks include three listed CofE churches, 15th century public house The Bell, Grade II listed Matham Manor, and 16th century house Quillets Royal. Other landmarks include The Jubilee Fountain and three conservation areas in East Molesey. Hurst Park is on the south bank of the River Thames from where there is a daily ferry to Hampton.

East and West Molesey share a high street with a mix of retail outlets, restaurants and cafes.

A second retail and dining hub is to the east of the town close to Hampton Court Palace, Bushy Park and Hampton Court Park. Mosley has a mix of traditional pubs and restaurants, modern bars and plentiful number of Chinese, Indian, French and Italian eateries.
