Located near the larger town of Camberley, Frimley in sits in the east of the county of Surrey, very close to the border of Hampshire and is well served by the M3 motorway. 

Chertsey Abbey owned the land  from the seventh until the 16th century, during which time it would have been regarded as a farming settlement. St Peter’s Church, Frimley has many famous graves including the 19th century artist John Frederick Lewis (d:1876), illustrator George Edward Lodge (d:1954), and British Admiral Sir Doveton Sturdee d: 1925). Today, Frimley enjoys easy access to London by both rail and road.
