This family farm raises rare breeds on the Surrey Hills using traditional methods to produce the most marvellous meat which they sell in all its guises. They make, bake and preseve a host of other treats and also stock the best of the region's local products.
What is special about Butchers Hall & Country Grocer?
Traditional, rare breeds and good old fashioned husbandry help to produce our fantastic meat that 'tastes like meat used to'. We have a resident master butcher and dedicated chefs, who ensure not a scrap of our beautiful beasts are wasted. Plus we have new and exciting things for people to try, such as our mutton ham. We cure all our own charcuterie and bake daily to produce pies, bread and cakes.
How do you contribute to the local food scene in Surrey?
We make as much as we can on site and also offer a great range of other local products from like-minded artisan suppliers. We have events that allow people to get involved, such as our Bangers and Beer evening, when people were able to make their own sausages, or our butchery courses. We are in control of the whole process, from farm to fork, and so can provide great knowledge and service.
