If you’re looking for a bit of a break from caffeine, try a fruit tea. Not only are they a refreshing and delicious alternative to your average cuppa in the summer or winter, but they are also healthy thanks to their high vitamin C content.
There is now such a huge range of fruit teas to choose from including everything from rosehip, apple and orange to cherry, blackcurrant and peach, that you’re sure to find something that hits the spot.
Herbal teas, meanwhile, are made with real herbs such as ginger, thyme and peppermint, and are supposed to have therapeutic benefits if drunk about three or four times a day. Elderflower is relied on to help cure colds, nettle is a great pick-me-up, and chamomile helps reduce mild nausea. Pregnant women often resort to peppermint tea to help fight the nausea caused by morning sickness, while rosehip tea is supposed to being on labour.
