Surrey Hills Coffee is a small artisan coffee roastery in the village of Abinger Hammer near Dorking, having recently moved down the road from Forest Green.
The roastery was established in 2014, although Swedish husband and wife team, Chris and Monika, had already been in the coffee industry for many years.
Their skills and passion for good coffee led them to set up their own roastery here in the UK and, as well as supplying the good folk of Surrey with fantastic coffee, Chris and Monika also export their own roasts to their Swedish based coffee business, Kaffemaskinen.
Surrey Hills Coffee produces specialist blends alongside premium single estate coffees, sourcing only the finest beans from around the world. The single estate coffee beans are lightly roasted to ensure that flavours and aromas remain intact.
For those who are keen to try Surrey Hills Coffee for themselves, as well as being available at farm shops, independent cafés and gourmet pubs across the county, they also have a popular café of their own in Guildford.
Originally based in Chapel Street, they moved into the picturesque passageway, Jeffries Passage, in summer 2018 – and things couldn’t be going better.
On the other side of Guildford, Surrey Hills Coffee also has their new ‘Coffee Pod’. Located in a container on the office estate at London Square, close to London Road station, this too has been going down a storm.
