Located high in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and at the top of the North Downs Way, Titsey Brewing Co takes its inspiration from the history and heritage of the Titsey Estate where it is based.
While this microbrewery near Warlingham started small in 2017, head brewer Craig Vroom has big ambitions for its future and his first three beers, Gower Wolf, Leveson Buck and Gresham Hopper, have proven hugely popular with drinkers.
The most recent addition to their line-up is Innes Lager, which is a 4% crisp and golden lager using traditional Hells malt and Saaz hops. It's late hopped with German Hallertau Blanc hops for a refreshing citrus finish.
With alcohol levels below 4% ABV across the range, Titsey's tipples make for perfect session beers that are still packed full of character and flavour.
A former lager drinker who was converted to real ale by drinking modern day keg beers, Craig also produces a carbonated version of his Leveson Buck which gives it an extra refreshing kick.
With beers currently ranging from a best bitter to a crisp lager, you can find out more about Titsey Brewing Co's full selection here.
Having escaped the city for the countryside, there's nothing (other than brewing) that founder Craig loves more than hurtling down the area's mountain biking tracks and heading off for adventures in the hills.
Towards the end of 2018, Titsey Brewing Co raised more than £25,000 through a crowdfunding campaign and the proceeds will be going towards expanding the brewery in 2019.
Expect to see Titsey Brewing Co's beers popping up at more pubs and micropubs in the Surrey and Kent area, in particular, as well as at beer festivals and events across the country.
