Learn the art of Indian cuisine for authentic home style Indian dishes with cookery expert Anila.  Her small and friendly cookery classes are designed to provide you with a wealth of knowledge of spices, their uses and how to make a variety of tasty nutritious meals in a step by step guide including recipes and lots more.

Anila’s classes are all vegetarian and are designed to enable you to cook homemade authentic Indian dishes with confidence in your own home for your friends and family. Experience the aromas of different spices and their uses with step by step lessons on how to create authentic Indian meals. After the lesson you will enjoy the delicious meal you will have cooked, with plenty left to take home with you too.

“I love showing Indian food fans the best ways of using various herbs and spices to create authentic Indian dishes,” said Anila, who is an expert in Indian cuisine and is celebrating 21 years in the business, having sold her first curry sauce at a fair in Surrey in 1992.

Anila’s classes include all ingredients and utensils. The classes will inspire you and give you the opportunity to discover a wealth of ideas. Using the techniques, hints and tips plus amazing short cuts you will be able to apply and cook with confidence and with love. You will be amazed at the delicious meals you will be able to produce. There are a variety of classes to choose from including a visit to an Asian food store to purchase ingredients and spices before cooking.

  • Indian cookery classes run on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays and the 2nd and 3rd Saturdays of each month - but we can flexible so do ask - and are held in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey.
