Jam Packed Preserves is a family-run business producing an extensive range of homemade extra jams, jellies, marmalades, chutneys and curds, plus a chilli jam selection which spans the Scoville scale. All are hand-stirred in open pans using traditional methods.
What began as a way to use up a glut of raspberries on their newly-acquired allotment back in 2006 has turned into an award-winning business for Sue and Kevin Woodward.
They now supply farm shops and markets across Surrey and beyond with artisan preserves made from locally-grown ingredients wherever possible.
Their mission is to create preserves which are literally jam-packed with fruit, made to traditional family recipes `just like grandma used to make’.
Handmade in small batches, the extra jams and jellies contain higher quantities of fruit per 100g than many shop-bought products so it’s no wonder several of their products have won Great Taste awards.
The choice is vast with around 50 preserves from traditional favourites like strawberry and blackcurrant to wonderful sounding, and tasting, chuckleberry jam, beetroot and horseradish chutney and even crab apple and sloe extra jelly.
The chilli jam range goes from mild to `blow your head off', with the Carolina Reaper chilli jam made with the hottest chillies on the planet.
As well as farm shops, Jam Packed Preserves can be bought from its website which also offers gift packs and even Christmas crackers filled with mini selections of jams and chutneys.

So much choice in this range that it would be hard to choose a favourite. We love an artisan jam that you can stand a spoon in because it is so packed with fruit, and the chilli range got us all hot under the collar.
Jam Packed Preserves are perfect on top of toasted artisan bread or partnering cheese and cold meat platters. And even the most mundane sandwich would be revived with one of its chutneys or jellies.
