The new proprietors behind The Seven Stars in Leigh promise a warm welcome, freshly prepared food from the seasonally-changing menu and a truly family friendly restaurant. From roaring log fires to pretty gardens, this dining pub is a year-round delight.
What is special about The Seven Stars?
It's a beautiful, historic pub with lots of original features and the welcome is always warm. Our chef creates delicious, home-cooked food for all the family, and we offer a selection of excellent ales. The log fire is lit on cooler days and, when the sun shines, customers enjoy the alfresco dining areas. These are all the things that make British pubs great.
How does your pub contribute to the local food scene in Surrey?
We source as much as possible from local suppliers. For instance, meat comes from a butcher in Cheam, eggs from Ash House Farm, cheese from Norbury Park Farm at Mickleham and ice cream from St Joan’s Farm just down the road at Leigh. It’s great to seek out these special producers so customers can get literally eat the view around them. We offer regularly changing specials and seasonal produce – game in the winter, seafood in the summer – something a bit different from the norm.
Local Food Surrey says
This glorious English pub is a joy to visit. It has a lovely ambience and the chef produces high quality food which really embraces the best of local produce. Definitely worth a trip!
We promise that we will never, ever pass your details to anyone else or overwhelm you with emails – we send one a month, occasionally two (unless we have something really amazing that we think you will want to know about straightaway!).
And we will always make it really easy for you to unsubscribe – one click, straight from the email. We never want to lose our readers but we know how hugely irritating it is when the unsubscribe facility is made as difficult to use as possible..
