With more than a decade of cake-making experience behind her, Emma Fuller is shaking up the cake world with a new concept - Velvet Fig.
Statement cakes are presented in five trend-led collections, with a range of cupcakes, sweet treats and celebration cakes available within each theme. The current styles are Copper Rose, Geek Chic, Let's Party, Naturally Cake and Festive Bakes, and the range will expand and change with food fashions.
With a mission to 'make cake memorable', Velvet Fig's signature bakes really stand out from the crowd thanks to Emma's brilliant eye for colour. But these cakes aren't just easy on the eye - fabulous flavour combinations include coffee and salted caramel or raspberry and rosewater alongside classics such as vanilla bean or chocolate fudge. Whether it's a spectacular wedding cake, pretty party cupcakes or a Christmas gingerbread house too good to eat, Emma will work with you to create the perfect sweet treat for your special occasion.
As well as these breathtaking designer cakes, Velvet Fig offers cake services including consultancy, teaching, freelance baking and demonstrations. Having herself trained with Mich Turner MBE at Little Venice Cake Company, Emma is often called upon to share her expertise with companies like Lakeland and Fortnum and Mason.
“Emma has a heightened sense of taste and can carefully combine flavours to create mouthwatering combinations."
