Sandy Lane,, Nutfield, Surrey, RH1 4EJ
Showcasing bread makers, wine producers, gin distillers, craft brewers, cheese specialists, street food and more, Local Food Britain's Countryside Food Festival will be held on Priory Farm's Discovery Walk. Visitors will be able to nibble and sip their way around the festival and enjoy one-to-one chats with the producers on Saturday September 15, 10am to 4pm. And, if you want to widen your foodie knowledge, you can climb aboard a vintage bus to pick up tips from expert speakers. There will also be a ticketed pop-up restaurant featuring fire pit cooking from The Salt Box and children's workshops hosted by How to cook good food. This year's Preserves with Passion competition will also coincide with our festival, with a fantastic top prize to be won by one skilled jam, jelly or chutney maker. Entry is £2 per person, and free for under 16s, and includes entry to the Discovery Walk (normally £3 per person). A 25% donation of all ticket sales will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
