Farmer Penny Vaughan is proud to rear her cattle in accordance with Pasture for Life standards at Brightleigh Farm in Outwood, which means that when you buy her beef you can be sure it has been fed a natural diet. The animals only move indoors for the worst of the winter months, where they are fed on home grown hay and silage. Beef from Brightleigh Farm is dry hung for 21-28 days to allow the flavours of the meat to develop in the traditional way.

Glebe House is a family run farm estate in Godstone, Surrey, offering wonderful local produce from meat and eggs to honey and vegetables. Their Dexter beef cooks superbly because of its excellent marbling and is considered to be an outstanding quality full of flavour product. Their mobile farm shop Maude can often be spotted in Godstone village on weekends.

Based in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Hill House Farm is a family-run farm dedicated to connecting people to the countryside through food and rural experiences. Their beef is from native, grass fed cows that have grazed on traditional, naturally grown pastures in Westcott, Surrey. They have recently opened a butcher’s counter at Chessington Garden Centre.

Farmers Shon and Simon Sprackling are passionate about their produce and the welfare of the animals. Their cattle are grazed on a variety of organic grasses, including hillside clover in the winter and lush riverside pasture/marshland in the warmer months. The meat is prepared by their traditional master butchers, ensuring it looks good, cooks well, and tastes delicious.

Three Harbours Beef, Selsey, Sussex
Three Harbours Beef is available fresh and direct via a home delivery box scheme and from local shops and restaurants. All the beef animals are born either on coastal plain farms or within the local area. They are reared on grass and most on their mothers' milk and grass for the first six months and, after weaning, their diet is predominantly flower and herbal rich salt tinted grass which contributes greatly to the taste and quality of the meat.
