South Brockwells Farm sits amidst rolling countryside near Uckfield, Sussex. Their family-run farm shop is renowned for selling the freshest asparagus anyone could wish for, cut daily from their own fields during the season, which runs from late April until June.

Home-grown vegetables and free range eggs are also a real treat, not to mention their home reared award winning lamb, free range pork and outdoor reared goat meat. There's a good selection of essentials sourced from other local farms and producers too - think bakes, cakes, sauces, preserves and ice cream.

Come autumn, locally-sourced oven ready game is available, including the farm's handmade venison sausages and burgers, wild game birds, and their "wild" range of casseroles, pies and pastries. You should try their smoked game and salmon  - it is so good!

And at Christmas, it has to be fabulous Bridgers Farm turkeys, sourced from nearby Hurstpierpoint, along with a range of delicious foodie treats.

South Brockwells Farm Shop Kitchen was opened in September 2023 and working with talented local private chef Angela Carter, South Brockwells now offer hot food every weekend with each dish prepared using our home grown produce. Hot sausage rolls, pasties and delicious home made cake, freshly ground coffee and tea is available during the week.

South Brockwells Farm is very much a family farm, run by passionate food producers. Sarah Robinson and Chrissy Wells moved there with their parents in 1976 and, on the retirement of their father David Douglas in 2019, the sisters formed the South Brockwells Farm Partnership with Chrissy’s husband, Arron. Today, two generations work on the farm, with Chrissy and Arron's daughters Lucy and Daisy forming key members of the lambing and kidding team.

In 2022 Caroline Tasker joined the team and South Brockwells Farm School was launched. The Farm School offers a distinctive farm-based learning opportunity where students work with and care for our farm animals, work on and learn about the land to understand where food comes from and the role farming has in our lives.  The programme is tailor made for each student offering learning outside the classroom and promoting wellbeing.
