The small market town of Petworth lies in the heart of the South Downs in West Sussex. Whilst this centuries-old town is more immediately associated with the lavish stately home Petworth House and its accompanying park designed by Capability Brown, Petworth has been a thriving food hub since mediaeval times.

Petworth's gorgeous architecture houses many cafés and restaurants that pride themselves on using locally sourced ingredients, including locally reared meat, and seasonal menus. The town also enjoys a family bakery and an artisan confectioner's. Petworth's pubs showcase Sussex's wonderful real ales and beers, including Flor-ale, Triple XXX, Sundowner and Black Swallow from the Langham Brewery.
