On the edge of the South Downs, Pulborough is a large picturesque village in the Arun Valley. Its proximity to the rivers Arun and Rother make Pulborough one of Sussex's top fishing destinations. The rivers, along with many stunning local lakes, offer anglers many varieties of fish including carp, chubb, bream and eel. Sea trout and grey mullet have been known to stray into Pulborough's waters. On dry land, the annual harvest festival is not to be missed. It focuses on West Sussex's food, art and crafts. All year round, the remains of Pulborough castle can be found in the scenic woodland surrounding the village, as well as the stunning Pulborough Brooks nature reserve.
