Horsham is a historic market town on the upper reaches of the River Arun, in the centre of the Weald, West Sussex. The town has historically been known for horse trading, iron and brick making, but more recently brewing and is home to several breweries producing a wide range of fine beers and ales. Horsham's markets have become the pride of Horsham, offering fabulous fresh local produce and unique products. Horsham Farmers Market was named the winner of the Sussex Farmers Market 2013/14. As well as fine selection of good food pubs and restaurants, there are many cultural, historical and leisure attractions.
Horsham Park contains an 18th-century country house with formal gardens and a maze as well as play park, tennis courts, football and rugby pitches and The Pavilions leisure centre. Horsham Museum and art gallery offers a treasure trove of local history and heritage.
