A family-owned dairy farm in South Nutfield, Nutfield Dairy runs a local milk and produce delivery service as well as supplying farm shops and other foodie shops in Surrey.

Matthew Elphick and Betsie Edge launched their small dairy, where they milk traditional breeds of cows and produce milk at a high welfare and environmental standard, in spring 2020 and their produce has quickly become a staple of homes and shops in the area.

As well as their own fresh semi-skimmed and full fat milk, cream and (soon) butter, you can order farm to table produce such as eggs from Collaroy Farm in Newdigate, cheese from Norbury Park Farm Cheese near Guildford, bread from Pearce Traditional Artisan Bakery in Bookham, and pies from Coles Lane Fine Piehouse in Ockley.

Nutfield Dairy’s milk float Molly runs a free of charge milk round from their South Nutfield farm around the local villages including Outwood and Bletchingley, Godstone, Merstham and Woodhatch.

You can also find their milk in the likes of Priory Farm Shop, Duke’s Yard and Holborn’s in South Nutfield, Pedrick’s Zero Waste in Caterham, Brightleigh Farm and Outwood Butchers Shop in Outwood and more, as well as ordering direct from their website.

In an effort to reduce single-use plastic consumption whenever possible, Nutfield Dairy’s milk is available in glass bottles with a “rinse and return” policy.

Local Food Surrey says

Having launched their new dairy farm business at the start of lockdown in 2020, Matthew and Betsie certainly threw themselves in at the deep end with Nutfield Dairy but they have proven a welcome addition for those searching for quality local produce.

A little birdy tells us that the team at Nutfield Dairy have been experimenting with a range of new farmhouse butters, including variants using Albury Vineyard brandy and Norbury Blue Cheese, and we can't wait to try them.
