Come along and learn the basic principles of making your own sourdough bread in my sourdough taster session and cookery demonstration. I will show you how to make your own sourdough starter and provide you with tips and advice on how to look after it. This will be followed by a demonstration of how to mix and shape your dough along with how to bake your loaf to achieve the best results. This session will end with a light lunch, a glass of wine and lots of sourdough! The meal will be based upon ingredients that can be paired perfectly with the sourdough bread, such as local cheeses, fruits, salads and a pot of seasonal vegetable soup. I have created an online instruction manual for you to read after the session so you can go on and be confident in making some sourdough for yourself.
