Come along and learn the basic principles of making your own sourdough bread in my sourdough taster session and cookery demonstration. I will show you how to make your own sourdough starter and provide you with tips and advice on how to look after it. I will also send you home with a pot of your very own starter so you can practice right away.You will learn how to make delicious sourdough bread, how to mix, autolyse, bulk ferment, bench rest and shape your loaves. I will also show you my ever popular supper club focaccia dough, using leftover starter. This session will end with lunch including local cheeses, a bowl of seasonal soup and a glass of wine from one of our talented Surrey wine producers, served with limitless freshly baked sourdough.
