Hill House Farm and The Salt Box

Hill House Farm’s Ian Jones will talk about his high-welfare Gloucester Old Spot Pigs and Surrey farming in a double-header with The Salt Box’s Christian Armstrong, who will then take you outside for an open-fire cookery demo and tasting. The Salt Box are also hosting ticketed family workshops throughout the day. 

Vegan Sushi, 12.30pm

Laura Scott from How to Cook Good Food

Chef Laura Scott, who runs cookery lessons and the Epsom Supper Club, will share the tricks of the trade and show you how to make vegan sushi.

Curry in a Hurry, 2pm

Local Food Britain's Countryside Food Festival

The inspirational Mandira Sarkar of Mandira’s Kitchen (formerly Surrey Spice) will be revealing the secrets of making a ‘Curry in a Hurry’ – including a vegan option. You'll also learn about their recent move to Silent Pool near Guildford.

Velvet Fig's Emma Fuller

Love baking and cake decorating? Dorking-based Emma Fuller, of Velvet Fig, will show you how to shape and decorate the most beautiful cakes.

Stephen Dixon of Hot Pods chilli products

Hot Pods’ Stephen Dixon grows his own chillies and then turns them into scorchingly hot but always moreish condiments. Intrigued to know more about the humble chilli pepper? Stephen’s your man.

Bake With Jack's Jack Sturgess

The ever charming Jack Sturgess - aka Bake with Jack - will be teaching you all about how to make the very best bread in your own home. Almost a Sunday Brunch regular on Channel 4, Jack may be on the verge of winning the hearts of the nation in the same way he's enthralled Surrey.

Bread into Beer, 1.30pm

Morgan Arnell, Crumbs Brewing

Morgan Arnell from Reigate’s Crumbs Brewing will be sharing the story of how Crumbs Brewing transforms bread from Chalk Hills Bakery into their delicious range of beers. Over 18s will also get the chance to sample all four of Crumbs Brewing's delicious beers.

Cheese Adventures, 3pm

Francis Gimblett

Having travelled around Britain visiting 100 cheesemakers in 100 days during the winter, Haslemere’s Francis Gimblett will be sharing stories of his adventures and expert knowledge of British cheese. Francis recently launched his Campaign for British Cheese and will be offering tastings to help prove his point.
