The award-winning English Spirit Distillery produces small-batch English spirits at its copper pot distillery at Great Yeldham in Essex.
Started by an Oxford biochemist, Dr John Walters, English Spirit Distillery has opened the doors to its Grade II listed Black Barn at Great Yeldham Hall, and would like to welcome you in for a distillery tour and tasting like no other in 2022.
The Black Barn, which is nearly 200 years old, is home to 20 copper pot alembic stills, the home of English rum, and the UK’s biggest collection of scratch distilled spirits and liqueurs, including... vodka, gin, rum, brandy, single malt, liqueurs and more.
You’ll get to see the English Spirit distillery team, turning the stills and infusing their pioneering range of spirits with the finest quality ingredients.
They are delighted to welcome visitors to the home of English Spirit, sharing the knowledge of Master Distiller, Dr John Walters, and allowing you to sample their sensational drinks range.
Tours take place from Wednesday to Saturday - 5pm on weekdays and at 11am, 2pm and 4pm on Saturday. Following the end of Covid-19 restrictions, tours can now take a maximum of 25 people per group.
