The Garden Show at Firle Place

Plenty of garden related gifts, specialist nurseries, artisan work, craft and home products, garden furniture, sundries and the most delicious country foods. Firle Arts & Craft Market will again be held in the beautiful Old Georgian Riding School showcasing local art and design work. There is The Fabulous Flower Festival and ‘Herbal & Healthy’ refreshments in St Peters Church (rumour has it there will even be sheep and lambs in the Church!) On the Saturday. Peter Owen-Jones, Firle’s parish priest, author and television presenter will be giving a talk about his latest book ‘Past Lands’ which follows his pilgrim walks around the British mainland. Peter is also planning a ‘Fantastical Pirate Treasure Hunt’ for younger visitors in the church yard!There are plenty of activities on site to keep all the family occupied: face painting, craft activities, the funfair, jester juggling, storytelling, puppet and magic shows, watch huxley birds of prey, all this and much more!
