Farnham is a historic market town which sits at the western end of Surrey, almost on the borders of Surrey and Sussex.

It is vibrant and buzzy, with plenty of good stores and lovely coffee shops and tea rooms from which to sit back and blow the froth off your latte while watching the world go by. For those interested in architecture, there is plenty to see because the generous supply of clay led to the development of Farnham as a brick-built town and during the last quarter of the 17th century, brick began to supersede timber-framing as the method for making buildings. So, come feast your eyes.
