Priory Farm is warming up for a fruity pre-Wimbledon extravaganza as it celebrates its seventh annual Strawberry Fair. The food festival will pay homage to the great sporting event's well-known association with strawberries and cream on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June before the Championships begin the following Monday. The tennis theme will carry through to Priory Farm's Discovery Walk, with extra family fun activities as well as the usual tractor rides and nature trails. This year's Strawberry Fair will be a gastronomic spectacular of top-notch artisan food and drink and a celebration of produce from the local region. The array of more than 40 stallholders will include everything from artisan bakers, cheese and pie makers to local distillers and brewers. Visitors can stay for lunch and enjoy the farm's own sausages and burgers sizzling on the barbecue and of course indulge in the Wimbledon tradition of strawberries and cream.
