Ashford

 

Ashford is a town which sometimes causes confusion as to which county it is in. This is because, while most of it is in Surrey (in the borough of Spelthorne), a small area lies within the London Borough of Hounslow. 

Sometimes you will hear Ashford referred to as Ashford in Middlesex, which is partly true, although Middlesex County Council was dissolved in 1965 so the town’s wards are officially in Surrey these days. But don’t be confused with Ashford in Kent, where the Eurostar runs from – this is a different place altogether! Being densely populated and on the commuter belt for London, there are lots of places to eat out in Ashford, so whatever your choice of restaurant, you should find it here.
